Ooh la laah, this is the iconic Model 3207 armchair by Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen. Also known as the “Butterfly Chair, ” its organic design is reminiscent of a butterfly. The round seat shell is crafted from pressure-formed veneer. The seat has a warm, rust-brown upholstery. The chair stands on four chrome-plated tubular steel legs, and the wooden armrests are a beautiful detail. The design dates from the 1950s; this example is from 1983.
