Superb antique damask tablecloth made of linen and silk, hand-embroidered with the monogram S V, embroidered twice. The damask features a hunting theme: deer, hunting horns, animals, etc. Dimensions 150 X 230 cm. Dyed a light caramel colour, difficult to photograph. I mainly took photos to show you the appearance of the damask (and it will also depend on your screen...). Purchased at the Antiques Fair in Bastille, Paris, from an antique dealer specialising in dyed vintage linen. Soft and elegant shades. Impeccable.
