Valentine design ettore Sottsass for Olivetti in 1969

This is an iconic piece of mid-20th century design. Superb mechanical typewriter from designer ettore sottsass, model "valentine", manufactured by olivetti in 1969. In vermilion red bakelite. Azerty keyboard. Ribbon-reel with orange covers. Dimensions: 11.5 x 35 x 34.5 cm. Portable typewriter. Once stored in its vermilion red case, it is easily transported. Note that one of the two rubber clasp is missing (see photo). The machine is working. All keys and trolley are operational. The ink ribbons in place have been used to test but they are to be replaced.
