Impressionist painting, oil on wood signed, pastoral scene, Barbizon school

Hello. I am offering an animal landscape in the countryside signed Louise Rol (to be confirmed, research to be done) and dated 1938. This evocation of nature in the early morning represents sheep grazing in a sunrise. This pastoral and animated scene has several shots: sheep in the meadow, a pond, a nearby forest, a sea in the distance in a sunrise and a corner of sky. This scene takes place from mid-October when the leaves begin to fall to mid-March when the vegetation takes back its rights. This authentic painting is in perfect condition, it reminds us of the method of maintaining green spaces with animals, an ancestral practice brought up to date. Dimensions of the frame: 36 cm X 27.5 cm. Dimensions of the work: 30.5 cm X 22 cm. The photos were taken in natural light with the exception of the last photo taken indoors. The work has been completely cleaned and an anti-UV satin varnish has been applied. An old wooden frame has been restored (glued, nailed and stapled), an "old gold" type gilding has been applied on a dark artisanal walnut stain. The whole is ready to be hung.
