Illustrated plate, Studies of Gorilla and Wolf, Signed A. Margat, 1930

This antique print, produced between 1930 and 1950, depicts a detailed study of a young congo gorilla and a wolf in motion, hand-signed by andré margat (1903-1997). Part of the "animals" series (pl. 39), it illustrates the artist's precise work in the anatomical and dynamic observation of wildlife. Presented under glass in a black frame measuring 30 X 40 cm (total dimensions with frame), this plate demonstrates margat's characteristic attention to detail.
