Voltaire armchair, Charles X period, nineteenth century

This beautiful green upholstered armchair is a voltaire armchair from the restoration period. A voltaire armchair is comfortable, well padded, a high inclined backrest, the armrests also padded for comfort. The armrests are straight, while the armrest supports are cross-shaped. The armchair is covered with a tapestry "in focus", in fir green with white patterns in the form of small four-pointed stars, there are also white and red floral motifs.
