This model of armchair appears in the first post-war baumann catalogue. It stems from a certain type of chairs known to manufacturers since 1935, presenting front legs with quadrangular section, called "squares" that will evolve towards a more conical profile. They are screwed into the chassis according to a mounting system patented in 1937, presented as "of a "robustness without guaranteed competition". Beautiful arched solid wood backrest. In 1954, the model was equipped with two reinforcement arches at the rear and a seat bottom plated and no longer recessed in the chassis, enough to fine-tune an already very modern line. The armchair n°128 in this final form will only be produced until 1956. – very good condition of the room, patina of experience, ready to serve, as the period catalog says so well "for the office, the workshop, the store, the café, etc... --height 80 cm, seat height 46.5 cm, seat 45 X 45 cm; good ease between the shoulders, width 48 cm. -- delivery all france and eu, professional invoice.
