SZÉKELY Pierre (1923-2001) Art nu n°1, 1974. Original copperplate print in 2 colors on fine textured vellum. Printed by Claude Breton, Paris. Proof signed in pencil lower right, titled, described "print / copper", and dated 1974 lower left and dedicated to Marie-Thérèse in the center. Unknown print. Sheet size: 53 X 53 cm. In good condition (stain on left edge and light crease at the top). Information: Original copperplate print whose stone is kept at the Mâcon Museum, according to the catalog raisonné. "Two-tone inks on thin copper sheets (tinsel) cut with scissors, " it specifies. Reference: The eponymous print (dated 1972) and the stone used to press it both appear in the catalogue raisonné of the artist and sculptor's prints, established by Pierre Karinthi (photos of a proof and the matrix available online).
