A vintage japanese ceramic bottle that was made by the helios distillery in nago-city, okinawa, and once contained awamori. Awamori is an alcoholic beverage indigenous and unique to okinawa. It is made from long grain indica rice, and is not a direct product of brewing (like sake) but of distillation. This ceramic piece has a raised design that seems to depict a guardian lion and a dragon in vivid green-brown colours. It could be used as an oriental vase, as decorative home decor, or even as a pouring vessel for special occasions. Its capacity is 360 ml. Stands 15 cm tall, 9 cm wide at the widest point, 5 cm wide at the base. Weighs 345 grams. A wonderful gift for lovers of japan and asian art in general.
