Vintage Winter Landscape Oil Painting

Bring the dramatic beauty of a Nordic winter night into your home with this stunning original mid-century oil painting by Danish artist Kaj (Kai) Jensen. Known for his atmospheric regional landscapes, Jensen beautifully captures a vibrant, fiery sunset breaking through a heavy twilight sky over a snow-covered field. The painting comes beautifully presented in its original, wide vintage gold-painted profile molding frame. It features the artist's authentic red monogram "KJ." in the lower right corner. Adding incredible historical value and provenance, the reverse side of the wooden frame bears a handwritten pencil inscription from its early history: "Kaj Jensen død efteråret 1971" (Kaj Jensen died autumn 1971).
