Large Art Deco serving dish, round and semi-deep, made of Limoges porcelain, signed André François, period 1919-1934. André François was a manufacturer and decorator, owning several workshops in Limoges. He was awarded multiple times for his quality creations and decorated one of the three vases known as the "Negro" vase, one example of which is displayed at the Dubouché Museum in Limoges. This serving dish bears the double stamp (manufacturer and decorator) A.F Limoges France. This model is very original, with its pattern and colours. A vintage and charming piece. It is in very good condition considering its age. No cracks, chips, or stains. Beautiful shine. Some slight fading of the gilding in certain areas, but this gives it patina, charm, and authenticity, proof of the object's history. Diameter: 33 cm. Height: 3.8 cm. Depth: 2.8 cm. Base diameter: 20.4 cm. Weight: 900 g.
