Black leather sofa by Sede – Design by Andrée Putman – 1990s

Black leather sofa from the Swiss brand de Sede, model DS 2773/03, dating from the 1990s. Design attributed to the famous French designer Andrée Putman – a rare and sought-after piece. This is a 3-seater sofa with a solid wood frame, very comfortable seating, and high-quality leather (bicolour black/white on the back). Overall in good condition, with some normal signs of wear but no structural defects or tears. This sofa belonged to my mother, who will be parting with it soon due to a move. It has been well maintained. Purchased in 1994 from a high-end dealer in Germany (Schröer, Krefeld).
