Golden wooden frieze

Superb large gilded wooden pediment, beautifully carved with foliage, acanthus leaves on a shield, and engraved arabesques. It is likely an antique furniture pediment. A very beautiful decorative object above a door or on a wall. One end of the base is missing. This flaw is really discreet. The gilded patina is nuanced and worn in places. The back is made of raw wood. Weight 1.315kg.
