Brutalist display cabinet in oak by Charles Dudouyt from the 1940s. France. Superb oak display cabinet with a brutalist / late Art Deco character, typical of French productions from the 1930s-40s. The façade is structured by a large central glass panel showcasing shelves (ideal for books, objects, crockery), framed by two solid doors adorned with relief-striated panels. The silhouette is powerful and architectured: overhanging cornice with softened edges, generous uprights, base on a plinth with cylindrical elements, and beautiful mouldings that highlight the volumes.
