Set of 4 square coffee tables in high-end travertine. The particularity of these tables is the great modularity they offer because they move easily (two are mounted on 4 casters). They can become a one-off seat to gather several people around a coffee table in several possible configurations. Perfect condition. These tables come directly from the back of the workshop of the designer claude berraldacci, who designed it in the 90s. The brand was called "la pierre haute couture". The stone is the purest of what exists in travertine. It comes from the tivoli quarry near rome, from where the buildings of the vatican, the colosseum or the trevi fountain are extracted. The travertine from this region is very pure, with few veins and a very light color. They are not afraid of stains. The stone is worked with the great know-how of berraldacci which allows to have a "softened travertine": natural and matte appearance, soft to the touch. His work highlights the timeless dimension of his pieces that harmonize with all styles of decoration (usually a cliché phrase but which is true for travertine). Latest photos: extract from the period catalog and portrait of claude berraldacci. Dimensions: 4 tables of 55x55x18 each.
