Rare pair of vintage armchairs in solid rio rosewood pj 56 by danish designer grete jalk for poul jeppesen. Rarely distributed in this luxurious rosewood version. Stamped under the structure by a green metal medallion “pj design grete jalk made in denmark” and by the medallion “danish furniture” fabulous design with the cantilevered armrests, the angle of the seat and the curvature of the backrest. It is a true work of cabinetmaking art. Fully restored by our partner upholsterer specializing in 20th century furniture in lyon. The high resilience foams are new. The whole is covered with the bouclette fabric of the french house casamance in powder snow color. The cushions are removable by a zipper and washable. They will take place in any space by their ideal dimensions even in a small interior. Very good seating comfort with the optimized inclination of the backrest.
