The Cassina Wink Lounge Chair, designed by Toshiyuki Kita in 1980, is a versatile chair that can turn into a chaise longue. Its steel frame allows the seat to fold forward, providing both durability and functionality. The chair features padding made from CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, ensuring comfort while being environmentally conscious. The upholstery is crafted from high-quality linen fabric, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The designer, Toshiyuki Kita says, "Sitting on Wink gives the sensation of sitting on the floor, allowing your spirit to rise in alignment with Eastern traditions." With modern dimensions, the chair serves multiple purposes; when in the lounge position, it extends to 200 cm. It comes with two types of fabric: an outer cover and a removable linen textile in cream and purple colors. The removable part is in good shape and attaches with Velcro, while the black base fabric shows some fading from the sun. There are minor signs of wear on the plastic parts.
