Tc was is originally designed for the museum boymans van beuningen, rotterdam to be taken along by visitors who can sit on it during the guided tours. The stool is lightweight (less than 1 kg) and stackable. The tc stool is part of the collection of several museums: the permanent collection of moma, new york, cooper hewitt museum, new york, museum für angewandte kunst, cologne and stedelijk museum in amsterdam. Tc also won several prizes such as the price of the design yearbook 1998, the 1st price on the international contemporary furniture fair icff in new york and 1st prize form frankfurt 1992. The stool is handmade of two millimeter thin birch multiplex 'airplane triplex' which is especially produced for the aircraft industry and consist of 4 extremely thin veneer layers. This stool is from a very early production. Superb condition!.
