Chrome Eye Ball lamp, Space Age, Germany circa 1970.

Very beautiful lamp from around 1970. Model known as "Eye ball" (resembling an eye), completely in the Space Age spirit of that time. Made in Germany by DBGM (stamp under the base). Entirely made of chrome metal, with the interior of the globe in aluminium, it consists of a base (diameter 17 cm and thickness 1 cm) from which a support rod (49 cm) rises, along and around which a globe diffuser (diameter 15 cm) is positioned, mounted on a ball joint (length 8.5 cm) allowing it to be oriented in all planes. Electric cable of 180 cm. Sold with a bulb. In perfect condition, there are just a few micro scratches on the base, without aesthetic impact. An uncommon and very high-quality model, stylish and trendy, this lovely lamp can serve as a desk lamp, bedside lamp, or ambient light in a living room.
