Mirror set and wall lamp in gold metal by deknudt, 1960s

Period: ca. 1960. The mirror has a classic rounded rectangular shape and is framed by a simple strip of gold-colored metal. It is decorated with metal buckles at the top and bottom and a single sheet of acanthus at the top. There is a rear suspension hook. The wall lamp console has a mirror glass shelf. It is decorated with metal zigzags underneath. The console foot is formed by a double metal loop. There are two hooks on the back. Although the stamp on the back of the mirror is unreadable, its parts are certainly manufactured by deknudt, a belgian company that began producing design mirrors in 1947 renowned for their superior quality. State: Very good. No damage. Mirrors in excellent condition. Sheets and metal parts have oxidation marks as one would expect on an item of this age. See the photos for more details. The metal frame strip around the console moves a little but this will not be the case once attached to a wall.
