Bumling pendant lamp designed by Anders Pehrson for Ateljé Lyktan, 1960s

Swedish Bumling pendant lamp designed by designer Anders Pehrson in 1968. This lamp was manufactured by Ateljé Lyktan and grew into one of the most famous Swedish design lamps of the 1960s. This piece is made of brass, making it a perfect fit for both Mid-Century and contemporary interiors. The characteristic round shade is finished at the bottom with the original white slatted diffuser, which ensures a pleasant and even light distribution while simultaneously limiting direct view of the light source. The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition with a light patina and some minor signs of use in the form of a few inconspicuous light scratches. There is also a small dent at the top of the rounded section, which is not bothersome. The original manufacturer's stickers are also still present. Deservedly a Swedish design classic!
