Grand French Antique Bronze Empire 3 Light Hall Lantern With Arrow Detail 4072

French antique bronze empire 3 light round lantern with arrow detail. The bronze framework is made up of a round piece at the top and bottom with a green lacquered band. There are 4 bars in the form of arrows which hold the glass in place. From the top are 4 curved arms which join at the top on to a central column and the column is suspended in the centre of the light leading to a decorative piece which holds the 3 lights. The candle drips are in card in keeping with the age of the lantern. The shade is one cylindrical piece of antique glass that sits neatly within the frame. The lantern hangs from a 7 link chain bar and cup style ceiling fitting.the lantern has its original 2 core braided wiring and takes 3 small screw in bulbs e14s. There is some fraying on the wiring part way up the chain. The bronze framework is in good antique condition with marks associated with age it has been cleaned but not polished so you can decide on the finish. The glass is complete with no chips or cracks.
