Yellow glazed terracotta confit pot with two handles, probably originating from the South-West of France. These pots were traditionally used for preserving meats (duck, goose, pork...) in their fat. The lower part, left unglazed, allowed them to be partially buried to keep the food cool. This beautiful pottery features a shiny honey-yellow glaze, enhanced by natural drips and a touch of green glaze, characteristic of old artisanal productions. Today, this pot will add an authentic touch to a country kitchen or rustic interior. It can also be used as a plant pot or utensil holder. Condition: generally good condition. Some chips in the glaze on the rim and slight signs of use consistent with its age. No visible cracks or repairs. Dimensions: • Height: approximately 26.2 cm. 🚚 DELIVERY POSSIBLE VIA COCOLIS Delivery is possible anywhere in France via Cocolis, to be arranged and paid for by the buyer. I am available to hand the item over to the carrier by appointment.
