Danish vintage pendant lamp Nova by Jo Hammerborg, Fog og Morup, 1963

The aluminum Nova lamp, designed by Jo Hammerborg in 1963. When lit, the lamp provides a soft, glare-free downward glow, making it ideal for low-hanging fixtures, while its glossy surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space. One of several themes that recurred in Jo Hammerborg's work at Fog & Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often made from three different metals – copper, brass, and aluminum. Dimensions: Diameter: 41cm. Height: 18cm. The lamp is in good condition for its age, with a minor dent. The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, and the cable has been replaced with a new, braided one.
