This superb brown and blue glazed stoneware vase, with an abstract design typical of the 50s/60s, is a creation by Jan Schuurkes for the Dutch workshop Cor Unum. It reflects all the modernity of the mid-century style with geometric relief patterns that play on contrasts of materials and colors 💙🔫 With its original slender shape and sculpted patterns, it stands out as both a decorative piece and a collector's item. The white glaze on the inside adds an unexpected touch of softness. The bottom of the vase is stamped “CU” and bears the model number “400”. A discreet crack is visible on the top of the vase (see photo), but it does not affect its stability or aesthetics. 🔸 Dimensions: height 24.5 cm – diameter 9 cm 🔸 Condition: good vintage condition, even if a discreet crack is visible on the upper part of the vase (see photo). This does not affect the phthisical integrity of the piece. Keywords: Cor Unum vase, Jan Schuurkes, glazed stoneware, mid-century, Dutch design.
