Parisian Art Deco wardrobe, circa 1940

Very beautiful Parisian wardrobe with one glass door. Made of oak and oak veneer, it dates from the early 20th century. Neither too wide nor too deep, its dimensions make it an ideal piece of furniture for small spaces or a child's room. It immediately appeals due to its smaller size compared to the more common large Parisian wardrobes. Another distinguishing feature is its compact shape without legs, which allows it to be not very tall. Its lockable door opens to reveal three removable and adjustable shelves. Numerous details also make it very charming: its beautifully carved pediment, the mouldings on the front, its lovely luminous patina, its original old key... It has been thoroughly cleaned, sanded, and nourished with colourless wax. It has truly regained a new lease of life! Stable, robust, and very sound, it is immediately usable.
