Antique glass and bronze ceiling light by Maison L.GAU

Elegant antique dome-shaped ceiling light in pressed molded glass with an openwork metal and gilt brass frame and a patinated bronze ceiling rose. French production, 1960-70, manufactured by the renowned Maison Lucien GAU. Reference 670-15. Textured glass with a diamond point and honeycomb pattern. Electrical components include an E14 screw-in socket. High-quality craftsmanship. The light is in very good condition, with a beautiful patina. Note a very slight crack in the glass globe, but it is completely invisible as it is located around the threaded rod hole and is therefore entirely and largely covered by the central ceiling rose (see photos for confirmation). Perfect for completing a vintage or classic décor. It can also be repurposed, as is currently trending, as a charming nightlight or table lamp. Diameter: 16.5 cm. Height: 9.0 cm.
