Louis XVI Rosewood Desk

Lovely louis XVI style desk in rosewood from the 19th century. The desk is decorated with superb marquetry on its drawers decorated with flowers. Its two sides as well as its back are decorated with flowers in wood marquetry. Very beautiful quality work. The top is lined with superb leather with a brown patina. It opens with 4 drawers on the front and two side pulls, also darkened with leather. The leather has a superb patina. The drawers have their keys which work. The top is designed in a belt by a gilded brass ingot mold. Mounted on oak. It rests on sheathed feet ending in sabots.
