African art dressr

Magnificent solid wood dresser. The 3 carved doors come from Senegal. These carved doors would be between 100 and 120 years old. They were bought in Senegal in Casamance but we are not sure of their exact provenance. This piece of furniture was made from these doors carved in exotic wood. The furniture in its entirety was then made about 50 years ago, in France by a cabinetmaker craftsman Meilleur Ouvrier de France. The feet are fragile, quite small compared to the weight of the furniture. There are 8 of them, 1 of which is broken. But it holds up perfectly.
