The two-body buffet presented is a magnificent example of craftsmanship from the beginning of the 20th century. Made in 1920, this mahogany piece of furniture, with compositions of rosewood, lemon tree and dark wood, is a testimony to the elegance and finesse of the period. The upper part opens onto two glass doors with curved panes, secured by an original lock. It is supported by two turned uprights, adding a touch of sophistication. Below, a mirror highlights the lower part which opens with three drawers and two doors, dark with inlaid recessed panels, each offering a shelf. The brass locks and drop rings with chiseled plates are details that reflect the luxury of the time. The whole thing rests on square wooden legs, a design choice which ensures its stability and completes its classic look. This base is supported by a spacer shelf which offers additional space for displaying or storing objects. This two-body sideboard is not only a storage unit, but also a piece of art that can transform any space with its history and character. ******** period: 1920 excellent condition varnished finish dimensions: width: 140 cm depth: 57 cm height: 190 cm ref.010724.
