Modernist painting by swedish painter lars erik larsson ( 1912-1971).the picture was painted with oil technique on panel in the 40's. The picture is handwritten in the lower right corner. In an original period setting. Lars erik larsson, born march 3, 1912 in maria magdalena parish, stockholm, died july 17, 1971 in storkyrkoförsamlingen, stockholm, was a swedish painter. He was the son of the manufacturer mauritz larsson and maria eriksson and married to lill-britt marker. Larsson studied at otte sköld's painting school in stockholm and through self-study on trips to france. He has exhibited separately at rålambshof art gallery in 1943 and at galerie moderne in 1953. He has participated in group exhibitions at liljevalch's art gallery and in several group exhibitions in the countryside. His art consists of interiors, models, still lifes, stockholm views and landscapes with dunes from fårö. Larsson is represented at the national museum, stockholm.
