Handmade custom mirror, made from beautiful abalone shell pieces in resin with a chrome top, circa 2017. This item is extremely rare because videre licet only makes individual pieces and each object has a different style. so only 1 piece of this mirror model is available in this color. we also. videre licet, started around 2014 and is a collaboration between artist-designer daniele albright and design curator stefan lawrence. their unique company is based in los angeles and they describe their work as "conceptual glamour", bridging a wide range of californian references, from minimalist sculpture to hollywood glamor and '70s experimentalism. the collection is designed using contemporary technologies but is made entirely by hand. the collection includes both functional pieces and sculptural works produced in limited editions. but all works are unique and this mirror is a bit of a mixed bag. functional but also sculptural.
