A rare icon of luminous design, the “Gem” pendant was conceived by Paul Andreu – the famous architect of Charles de Gaulle Airport – for iGuzzini. Published in a limited series, this sculptural piece illustrates the meeting of architecture and light, in a decidedly contemporary spirit. The organic shape of the pendant evokes a cut crystal, subtly playing with transparency and the diffusion of light. A true work of art, it fits seamlessly into both a modern interior and a collection of 20th-century design. This piece won the DesignPlus Light + Building award in 2004. Material: Two polycarbonate shells with photogravure from the mould and anti-UV treatments. A rare opportunity to acquire a luminaire signed by a great name in French architecture, published by a leading Italian design house.
