Director's Armchair – Jean Prouvé for Vitra – 2014 Edition

Vitra edition of the famous Direction Chair, designed by Jean Prouvé in the early 1950s. A true icon of French design, this chair elegantly combines a thermolacquered steel structure, solid oak armrests, and a terracotta textile covering. Purchased new in 2014, it has always been used in a Parisian apartment with the matching Direction desk and has been carefully maintained. It is in very good condition. It shows only a few light signs of use related to its age, including a small discreet chip on one armrest and some superficial marks on the fabric, visible in the photographs. The Vitra edition plates are present. Available in Paris. Preferably for collection in person or transport to be arranged by the buyer.
