Antique travel trunk with studs, 18th-19th century

Antique studded travel trunk dating back to the 18th or 19th century, previously used as a travel trunk, chest, or wedding trunk. The internal structure is made of wood, completely covered in leather. The decorative and functional elements, such as the side handles and studs, are made of wrought iron. The side handles are forged iron. The characteristic domed lid is decorated with hundreds of rivets and metal studs that highlight its age and historical use. There is a fully functional visible lock. The trunk has been conservatively restored, mainly by cleaning the leather to restore its shine and beauty. No interventions or modifications have been made.
