Parisian glass-fronted wardrobe in raw wood, 1940

Charming and elegant vintage Parisian glass-fronted wardrobe made of beech with bevelled feet and lovely macarons from the 1940s. It has been carefully sanded, with a clear matte oil protective finish that is stain-resistant. The wood has a beautiful patina, greyed in places. Inside, there is ample storage space with 4 adjustable shelves painted grey. The glass is original and shows some signs of use and scratches. The doors close easily and can be locked. The lock has been replaced (old stock of hardware never used) with an Art Deco key. The Art Deco bronze lock entries are original. Please note that all these vintage pieces show signs of use and minor defects despite a long and careful renovation. Any major defects are noted in my listings. The right door is slightly warped downwards (see photos). There are old uninhabited woodworm holes present, some of which have been filled. A preventive treatment has been applied. The right rear foot has undergone an old repair that I have reinforced (see photos); the foot is solid! Lastly, the plywood back is cracking inside at the bottom right panel, without consequences (see photo). Dimensions: l70xp35xh170. Shelves l66xp26-29. Height of the feet 11cm.
