Large vintage 1920s Pirouett architect Art Deco lamp - 50 cm

Antique large Pirouett architect's lamp in chromed metal, circa 1920, in good condition. A quintessential French Art Deco lamp, made in Nice, this is a very rare model in this size, featuring two articulated arms and a clamp for secure mounting. It is functional, although the chrome has been polished in several places. The glass shades have been replaced with stained glass, using semi-artisanal techniques to create an effect as close as possible to the original. The Zeppelin-style cord switch is made of matching chocolate-colored Bakelite, as is the original chocolate-colored Bakelite plug. The gold fabric-covered electrical cord is new. It uses a bayonet bulb (not included). As seen in the photos, it measures 75cm in height, the shade is 23cm long, and it is 65cm deep.
