Pair of Antique William Kent Empire Swan Carved Side Chairs

We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning pair of hand-carved accent chairs from around 1880-1900, featuring swan designs, hand-painted in green with gold leaf detailing in the style of William Kent. A very decorative and well-crafted pair, typically English, in the style of William Kent, suitable for a French palace. The paint has beautifully aged with a magnificent patina. We have cleaned, waxed, and polished them. They show normal signs of use and age, with the rattan stretched on one chair, while the other is a bit loose and sagging. Dimensions: Height 92.5 cm, Width 45 cm, Depth 47 cm, Seat Height 44 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point. Condition note: there is a natural patina with cracks, creases, and normal wear related to age, particularly on the leather. Regular maintenance by waxing is recommended.
