Armchair Cité by Jean Prouvé for Vitra

Armchair Cité de Jean proven, reissued by Vitra 2006. The Cité chair was one of Prouvé's first masterpieces; it was designed as part of a competition for furnishing the rooms of the university city of Nancy. Feet patins characteristic of folded sheet metal and its armrests formed by large belts of natural leather. Generous dimensions and welcoming padding contribute to the comfort of "City." This model is a reissue of the original model by the company Vitra. The coating is made of black canvas.
