Iridescent knife rests in excellent condition. The company Verceram, based in the Paris region in Montreuil, disappeared in the 1970s. Its bold and decorative shapes contributed to its success at that time, and its various high-end collections were widespread in the market. Asian competition and the oil crisis proved fatal for it. Today, the brand's ceramics are coming out of cupboards, and their value is gradually increasing. Some pieces by Verceram are sought after by collectors. As before, the very recognisable style of the ceramics they produced in the 1960s-70s, as well as pre-war, revolved around tableware and decoration: trivets, ice buckets, knife rests, ashtrays, small dishes, fruit bowls, key trays, table lamps, vases, carafes, juice sets, candlesticks, salt shakers, serving trays... With four different decorations, the iridescent one being the most commercially successful.
