The pallone chair was designed by roy de scheemaker in 1989 for the house of the future in rosmalen and is manufactured by leolux in the netherlands. With its futuristic aesthetic, the pallone lounge chair has a spherical shape with a large curved seat cushion that rests on three short, polished legs that create a sloping profile. The wide, curved backrest seems to float above the seat cushion on the chrome frame and emphasizes the feeling of space travel. The seat cushion is upholstered in two zones, the center in gray and the outer zones in pink with contrasting leather for the backrest.
