Space Age wall light in brushed aluminium, 1970.

Superb vintage wall light published by Oxar in France in the 1970s. Its very graphic design combines a metal structure with curved lines to a central metallic element and an exposed bulb. Once lit, it creates a beautiful play of light upwards and downwards, while highlighting the architecture of the wall light. Its minimalist and sculptural aesthetic is characteristic of Space Age design from the 1970s. Whether off or on, it functions almost as a decorative object in its own right. The contrast between the dark metal, the lighter central part, and the light gives a particularly elegant and warm effect, equally beautiful in a contemporary interior as in vintage decor. Publisher: Oxar. Origin: France. Era: 1970s. Style: Space Age / French design / vintage. Materials: metal. Condition: good vintage condition, with slight signs of wear typical for a piece from this era. A very beautiful piece of French design from the 1970s, now difficult to find.
