Romeo Rega coffee table

Beautiful Romeo Rega coffee table. My parents bought it at a design fair in Milan in 1972. Very good condition for this heavy table without any "snags", it was in their mountain chalet that we emptied. In brass and smoked glass (not glass, mirrors but dark) for both levels it gives a crazy look to the table. The smoked glass plates are slightly beveled with very light marks of time at certain angles but imperceptible except when you remove the glass. A superb vintage piece. Feet and tower in 40 mm round brass with tarred reinforcements at the glass locations of the most beautiful effect. Dim in mm. L 1150 / l 550 / h 420. Between the two levels 250. From the ground the first level is at 150. Slight downside my mother used to put her feet in socks on the gilded brass bar at the bottom and in some places the "gold" has faded but frankly when you see the table that's not what you notice but its workmanship.
