Romeo Rega coffee table

Magnificent Romeo Rega coffee table. My parents bought it at a design fair in Milan in 1972. This heavy, flawless table is in very good condition. It was in their mountain chalet, which we emptied. Made of brass and smoked glass (not glass, but dark mirrors) on both levels, it gives the table a stunning look. The smoked glass plates are slightly beveled, with very slight signs of age at certain angles, but imperceptible unless the glass is removed. A superb vintage piece. 40 mm round brass legs and rim with tarred reinforcements at the glass locations, a beautiful effect. Dimensions in mm. L 1150 / W 550 / H 420. Between the two levels 250. From the ground, the first level is 150. Slight drawback: my mother used to put her feet in socks on the gilded brass bar at the bottom, and in some places the "gilding" has faded, but honestly, when you see the table, that's not what you notice, but its craftsmanship.
