Unique vintage earthenware cheese platter from the famous Gien manufacture in France. This round dish stands out with its "Ma Cuisine" decor, hand-painted, featuring a crown of berries and stylised leaves in vibrant green and orange tones. In the centre, the names of famous French cheeses are inscribed in a circle: "CAMEMBERT, ROQUEFORT, MAROILLES, BRIE, GRUYERE, MUNSTER". Signed "Gien France": with the original stamp and the manufacturer's crest. The description on the back confirms that it is a hand-painted piece. Twisted Metal Handle: Its central handle made of twisted wrought iron allows for easy handling and adds a touch of originality. Overall in beautiful vintage condition. The ceramic shows a lovely natural crazing, a testament to its age (see photos). Some slight signs of wear on the metal handle. Dimensions: Diameter 30 cm, height 2 cm. A perfect gift for cheese lovers and fans of French design! Fast and careful shipping.
