Wall light -Midgard-

Wall light made of iron and aluminium by the German brand Midgard Licht, from around 1970, in an industrial style. Its scissor system, also known as an accordion, makes it an ingenious and aesthetic technical object that allows for a lighting reach of over a metre. This Midgard wall light is equipped with a switch on the upper part of the lampshade. It pivots 180° from its base. Its head can be lowered, raised, or oriented according to your needs. It would be well-suited for a kitchen, an office, or as a reading light in a bedroom. Rewired; original switch; new E14 socket. The Midgard Licht brand was founded in 1919 and significantly contributed to the development of the Bauhaus movement, particularly by equipping the new premises of the school in 1926 in Dessau.
