Mid-century Danish black leather swivel chair by Georg Thams, 1960s.

This rare office chair was designed by Danish designer Georg Thams in the 1960s. It is covered in natural black leather. It has three misaligned cushions. The chair is spacious and comfortable, and the wide armrests also contribute to the comfort during use. The base is a five-point swivel metal leg. The sharp edges perfectly complement the expressive shape of the furniture, and its elegant line will highlight the minimalist character of the interior. Georg Thams is a leading Danish furniture manufacturer. He specialised in angular designs primarily of sofas and armchairs. All his creations are characterised by sharp edges and clear shapes. They have been produced by numerous Danish manufacturers, such as Vejen Møbelfabrik, and continue to attract interest at many auctions to this day. The chair is in its original vintage condition.
