Vintage desk in a box.

Mid-century teak 'desk in a box' (also called 'magic box') from the 1960s. Manufactured by London-based Newcraft Ltd and inspired by the original design of the Swiss Mummenthaler & Meier. When opened, the cabinet reveals a workspace with a cleverly arranged interior, featuring a pull-out worktop with fold-out side leaves, a large front drawer, a pull-out tray for a keyboard, and various shelves and storage compartments. When closed, the cabinet shows a beautiful teak grain. It comes with the original lock and matching key. It is in very good restored condition.
