Fishing trunk

This pretty fisherman's stool, probably from the 60s, also serves as a storage chest. It will also find its place inside, well sheltered from the weather, to store the sewing necessary for example. It has its carry strap (i don't know if it's original, but it's in very good condition, and I washed it), and the middle locker has separations. It is made of wood, the plates on the sides appear to be plywood with a wood decoration on the outside (note three small spots where the wood decoration is erased). The seat is covered with a synthetic coating: a kind of thermoformed skai on brown with a grid (imitation sewing) and black edges and undersides. This coating is in good condition, but has a few spots and a tiny hole (1mm by 2mm) on the left edge. The padding appears to be in good condition. This chest has four plastic skates (good condition) and four silver clasps (slight rust picketing on it, but they work very well). I attach the label that was glued on it and that left a visible trace on the front (but no glue residue, you don't feel anything to the touch) I cleaned it carefully, sanded a few stains too visible and passed a very light varnish to the cloth to unify the whole, avoiding the shiny side of the new: no way to touch its so pretty patina. It remains therefore the marks of its age on the wood, mainly stains due to exposure to water. It is about 41 cm high, the encroachment to the ground is 38 cm long by 26 cm wide. It weighs about 4 kg.
