Vallauris flamed soliflore vases

Pretty duo of ceramic vases with a beautiful flamed enamel, one pink, the other pastel green, on a chocolate background decorated with white foam. Their shape is also very original, octagonal base, star-shaped opening and body reminiscent of the shape of the diabolo but with a widening in the center. They are not stamped but are entirely in the spirit of vallauris ceramics from the 60s and 70s. These are vases with a fairly thin “neck”, so more like soliflores even if they can hold a little more than a flower. We could also imagine turning them into candlesticks on a festive table. They are in good condition for vases that are around fifty years old, no cracks, no chips, just a very small chip on the edge of the pink vase and the pastel green enameling has a slight crack under the varnish. They measure 21 cm in height, 7 cm in width at the base, 5.5 cm in width at the opening.
